@AnKing-Maintainers Bump:
I think I sent this while no one could vote ![]()
could also add the average values to extra section to help highlight the difference
I still donāt see how this change helps resolve the issue
I would just add an equal sign to ā>ā and move this text to the extra section of the other card
Iām in favor of keeping the signs so they match the extra section, the table, and other cards (nid:1557330523206)
The issue is IMO ānormally ā„ 1cm/2hrsā doesnāt emphasize the point that something is wrong if that criterion isnāt met, but maybe thatās just me.
For example, pts belly measurements normally are in line with their gestational age, but measuring several weeks less than gestation (it can but) doesnāt mean that there is a problem.
Iām open to resolving this with different wording but canāt think of a way Iām super fond of, but something like this maybe? ![]()
āActive phase of labor must progress with ā„ā
Or we could just push the current suggestion which I think makes it clear.
Iām not sure tbh. Iād prefer ā>=ā or āat leastā over āmust.ā And to make it even harder, I was looking into this the other day, and it seems like the ā1.5/1.2ā rule was used before (Friedmanās Curve), which states that cervical dilation progresses at 1.5 cm per hour in multiparous women and 1.2 cm per hour in primiparous women. The newer guidelines (e.g., ACOG), however, seem to have shifted to 1 cm per 2 hours instead but I personally donāt think we need to address that at the moment
I personally found the same issues as @Jwill in the past, when doing reviews quickly itās easy to mistake this as the average and not the minimum value. Okay either way but think something should be added to highlight that this is the min value
Oh wow, what a headache. Well letās not strain ourselves over it too much than and just push āat leastā for now. It sounds like weāll be circling back around to figure this number thing out sometime in the relatively near future.
