Burkholderia cepacia has been added to newer videos in SketchyMicro. Moreover, it is unnecessary to reference a third-party resource in this card
One problem though with this wording is Pseudomonas and E. coli could also be answered here
This card has always been an issue and gets several suggestions. I think there really has never been a good resolution/consensus achieved unfortunately.
My heuristic for a good card is, could someone who has the knowledge the card is trying to test answer it correctly on their first try. This card fails that test. Iād say this card should be split up, or go all out and make a 1by1 mnemonic card using this amboss:
āA CAT Needs PLACESS to Belch its Hairballs:ā Nocardia, Pseudomonas, Listeria, Aspergillus, Candida, Escherichia coli, Staphylococci, Serratia, Burkholderia cepacia, and Helicobacter pylori are catalase-positive organisms.
