I see your point
But we have a card (1523366015508) that test the treatment of mastoiditis (IV abx) so i support sth like this for ex
Acute otitis media, focal neurological symptoms (or seizure, or any other indication for imaging) and mastoid swelling/anteriorly rotated ear
Diagnosis: {{c1::mastoiditis}}
Next step: {{c2::CT or MRI}}
So, I changed this card because imaging is not the next step per the UWORLD question. The diagnosis can be made clinically, and the immediate next step is antibiotics (Not CT or MRI). The current wording for this card makes it seem like you would go for the CT and MRI right away.
For the current suggestion, the Diagnosis would be “mastoiditis complicated by brain abscess” as that is what focal neurological sx would be eluding to, not mastoiditis alone
