Don’t think this is HY association, but don’t mind adding the cloze

Not high yield imo, although:

Statistics: The burden of disease is epidemic in American Indians (60-70%); a corresponding decrease occurs in Hispanics of mixed Indian origin. Ten to fifteen per cent of white adults in developed countries harbour gallstones. Frequency is further reduced in Black Americans, East Asia and sub-Saharan Africa. In developed countries, cholesterol gallstones predominate; 15% are black pigment. East Asians develop brown pigment stones in bile ducts, associated with biliary infection or parasites, or in intrahepatic ducts.

It would be better to mention American Indians rather than Whites, as per the incidence is considered. So it kinda negates the point. Idk what amboss is upto these days lol.

How about adding and then combing this into 1 cloze?

I feel this mnemonic is a common one that it can be 1 cloze

Agree with @shmuelsash,
I usually recall these together.

Understandable but there is no way to remember order and if its not a 1by1 then it will still be a nuisance for first time learners and then people will just bury this card over and over. If we can think of a way to make it easier I’m all for it

Everything starts with an F, I don’t think we need to remember these in order. Or am I wrong?

We dont need to memorize in order, but if we make it a 1by1 card it will have to be in order

If we dont add the “y” in one by one field, it will become a single cloze. Don’t know if that’s good or bad but I’d personally have it like that

If its a specific order you’re after for one-by-one I usually recall these in this order “females” are “fair” & “fertile” then “fat” & “forty”, not an exact science but it works for me

Ok with adding this here, AMBOSS highlights it and genetic predisposition and family history is what underlies association w/ certain populations (e.g., Native Americans, etc.) afaik. Doesn’t need 1b1 though, clozes are fine as is

what if this card changed all the “f’s” to all close1 but not 1b1?
it could be 2 cards instead of 6 (or 7)
like nid:1538919379367 asks for recall of the six “p’s” of congenital hypothyroidism at once I feel like the 5 “f’s” could easily be as well.

There are like 6 of us that are down with adding the cloze but can’t agree on clozing style ; think it’s ok as 7 separate, gets too unwieldy if we make people recall all 6 at once. Good to go?
