There are 4 current suggestions on this card (mostly from same person). Any suggestions on how to address this?

I’m open to perhaps rewording this to “Which immune cell(s) characteristically secrete(s) IL-2?”
I’m still undecided myself. It seems like AMBOSS and FA are emphasizing different things here. Anyone know if UWorld has anything to say about this in the form of a question/explanation? I don’t have UWorld at the moment.
Don’t think this needs a change, this has classically been tested as Th1. Real life vs board material and their focus do not always align.
We can add a note to extra that “However, other activated T-cells can also secrete IL-2”. (however I don’t think its necessary and will just cause further confusion)

@IantheBFG “characteristically” or “classically” we can do that but that might give away the answer because we don’t say that in other cards
@scaffry This is a classic example of why the most up to date FA version is the only one that is accepted as a source. If you look at FA24 pg 106 (in comment above) you will see that they have updated the title to say “Secreted by T-cells” NOT “Secreted by all T cells” as you’ve mentioned in your rational.
Agree with @Ahmed I don’t think this is a beneficial change. IL-2 Secreted by other T-cells is going to be considered non-significant. This is suppose to be a slam dunk BOARDS answer. IMO if a question ever requires you to know where IL-2 comes from the answer is going to be Th1.
I don’t believe changing this will help anyone better answer a test question. (more likely would cause the opposite effect)

I think adding that something that clarifies to extra field “For board exam purposes Th1 secretes IL-2; some literature shows other activated T cells may secrete some small amounts”
that way we emphasize what our current discussion is highlighting but also acknowledge that you may read a more generalized answer from other resources
maybe just “T-cells” without all or anything
