From what I’ve been researching, it does seem like opioids are the correct response to this.

Would we want to keep the suggestion as is or change the answer to opioids?

I say change to opioids

agree with changing to opioids, i dont think ive ever seen barbiturates tested in this context specifically

Updated the suggestion! If we’re able to push we’ll need to do a fair number of edits with tags and what not related to barbiturates

“Highest risk” doesn’t mean most common. Barbiturates are far more likely to be fatal given the extremely low safety margin/therapeutic index (far smaller than opioids). Not to mention reversibility is nearly nonexistent comparatively.

if we want to change something I’d prefer clarifying the text over changing the cloze. (Especially because I’d be blown away if current suggestion wouldn’t create some sort of dupe in the deck)

Ah that is a good point, kinda leaning back to just leaving as is with that clarification.

Agree with Justin as well, then what if we compare the two drugs. So out of the two, barbiturates or benzos, which carry the highest risk of resp depression. (since the original extra sorta alludes to this)

Something like this maybe:

“What drug intoxication carries the highest risk for respiratory depression?

{{c1::Barbiturates::Barbiturates or Benzodiazepines}}”
