I think NHEJ should remain (as the acronym is often used, both in other cards and in other settings) - ambivalent about ataxia telangectasia, though I do see wikipedia does do it lower case (admittedly with a hyphen)
maybe it could be “Nonhomologous end joining (NHEJ) is defective…”?
