Iāve recently gotten multiple requests externally asking why they canāt protected group of notes (i.e. they want to protect the āone by oneā field on just a select bunch of notes that they donāt want that feature for). Perhaps we should allow protecting a bunch, but if it is more than one we trigger a pop-up āIf you want to protect a field on every note, consider using the protected fields featureā and link to the appropriate documentation section on that?

Yes, I can make this work for all selected notes.

That sounds like a reasonable solution to me
I implemented this now, it should make it into an add-on update soon.
