DirtyMedicine Tagging Status

Hi, How complete is the dirty medicine tagging? I was hoping to use tags for all of the Biochem videos, but I can only see “08_Fatty_Acid_Synthesis”
Have the other biochem videos been tagged? Is my Anki glitching? Does anyone know when the other videos are expected to be tagged by?

From what I can see and what I’m able to find on the forum, it looks like:

• The DirtyMedicine tagging for Biochemistry is not fully completed yet in the shared AnkiHub deck.
• Having only something like #DirtyMedicine::01_Biochemistry_&_Ge…::08_Fatty_Acid_Synthesis under Biochem is expected right now, not an Anki glitch on your side.

Because tagging work is usually done gradually by volunteers, there often isn’t a precise public ETA for when a given video set (like the rest of Biochem) will be fully tagged.

To double‑check you’re seeing everything that currently exists:

1. In the Anki Browser, search:

   tag:#DirtyMedicine
   

   and confirm Biochem cards from other videos don’t show up.
2. Make sure your AnkiHub add‑on and the deck are fully synced:
   • AnkiHub → “Sync now”
   • Then Anki → “Sync” (top right).

If, after syncing, you still only see 08_Fatty_Acid_Synthesis under Biochem, that almost certainly means those are the only Biochem tags that have been completed and pushed to AnkiHub so far.

Since I don’t see an official progress/roadmap post for DirtyMedicine tagging, the best next steps are:

• Tag @AnKing or the deck maintainers in this topic and ask if there’s an internal estimate for the rest of Biochem.
• Optionally, you can:
  • Manually tag cards as you watch Biochem videos, using the same structure (e.g. #DirtyMedicine::01_Biochemistry_&_Genetics::XX_Video_Name), and
  • Later decide whether to keep your own tags or adopt the official ones once they’re released.

If you’d like, tell me which exact Biochem video you’re starting with, and I can suggest a practical workflow for creating temporary tags that won’t clash too much with future official tagging.

They only recently started being worked on, so it will take time to fully complete, but regular progress is being made on them each month!
