Does Anking v2 (offline) have Pankow cards?

I have been using the Anking v2 offline deck for all my B/B, C/P content. For P/S, are the cards under KA the Pankow-integrated cards? Im a bit confused for the Anking v2 (offline) since Im getting conflicting information on reddit/this forum

• In the AnKing v2 offline deck, the Khan Academy (KA) tags for P/S generally point to Khan Academy–based cards, not to a fully “Pankow‑integrated” Psych/Soc setup like the newer shared decks.
• The big, explicit Pankow‑integrated P/S overhaul is primarily in the more recent AnKing Overhaul (v11+) / AnKing Step 2+ style decks that sync via AnkiHub, not in the older v2 offline deck.

So:

• The tags you’re seeing under #KhanAcademy → Behavioral (e.g. Attention, Cognition, Emotion, etc.) are KA‑mapped P/S cards, not a separate Pankow‑only subdeck.
• Some content may overlap with Pankow materials, but v2 offline is not the “Pankow‑integrated” deck people on Reddit often reference.

If you specifically want the latest Pankow‑integrated P/S:

1. Consider switching to the current AnKing deck on AnkiHub and:
   • Subscribe to the main AnKing deck.
   • Use the tag structure (Pankow/KA/BnB, etc.) to drive your P/S coverage.
2. Keep your v2 offline deck mainly for continuity if you’re mid‑course, but rely on the AnkiHub deck for updated P/S.

I would be happy to help.

I’m sorry to say I’m not sure. Offline versions can be hard to track, or date, and so it’s hard to be certain of what has been shared or modified online over time.

I believe that Pankow’s updates coincided with the AnkiHub updates, and so while I am 100% certain that his updates are contained in the current AnkiHub version I can’t say with any certainty what the providence is for any non-AnkiHub versions of the deck as they are no longer tracked or maintained, unfortunately

Hey Brian thanks for the reply!

I purchased the subscription and synced my Anki (macOS) with AnkiHub as recent as June 2026. Since then I have not renewed my subscription.

Do you know if the version I synced onto my Anki (June 2026) included the Pankow? Is there any information I can check on my end to verify this?

If you accessed the June 2026 version of the deck it does ineed have the Pankow updates (and many others); that much I am certain of.

Pankow administered his initial updates a couple of years ago now, so if the version of the deck you have is from this year you will have any and all updates up to and including, though not beyond, June 2026

Do you know if there is a specific Pankow label? Or is it just integrated into the KA Foundation 6, 7, 8, 9?

There isn’t a specific Pankow label, unfortunately, as Pankow hadn’t organized his own collection in that way. Essentially, his deck was folded into the AnKing P/S deck en masse

From there, there have been a ton of updates since so it’s not entirely the Pankow deck, so much as a much-improved and much-modified version of that deck. The original stem of the deck is still there, but it has now seen 2-3 years of improvements well beyond the original deck

So, in short: what was the Pankow deck is folded into the P/S deck of the AnKing Step deck, though it doesn’t exist in any standalone way at this point
