Scholarships have always run for a period of time of 6 months, after which they complete their term, at least as long as I’ve been around (a few years)
There have been talks about using different timelines, but for at least the last few years they’ve always run for 6 months and then they complete their course; that much has always been the case at least to the best of my knowledge.
Yep, that is the intended design. It is given to those who may not otherwise be able to afford it, and the scholarship runs for 6 months.
