How long do private deck email links remain active?

I have several school decks that I maintain, which are set to “private.” When I add a classmate to a deck (or multiple decks), AnkiHub will send them an automated link email. I also send them an email directly to let them know to check their spam folder, just in case. Sometimes people do not click through and then I later get emailed asking why the links don’t work.

How long are the links active in their email?

Alternatively, if there were a way for me to see who is subscribed and/or who still has a pending invitation, that would be really helpful.

I believe it is one week. I’m not sure what the best option is for the issues you mentioned. @augusto.diebold , can you comment?

Thanks so much for the update! I have added the 7-day cutoff to my standard email that I send to classmates.

An alternative method to deck owners sending out links (that potentially expire) through AnkiHub would be to have a page on AnkiHub that lists decks by school (or organization). Users could request access to that page by providing a school email (e.g., has to end in @ medschool . edu , or whatever the deck owners think is appropriate) and then page/deck owners can approve from there.

(I’m managing 14 school block decks so I don’t know if other schools have this issue, it may not be as frustrating for other school deck owners.)
