It looks like you’ve pasted the template text for the Support category rather than your actual question.

From the topic title, it seems you’re trying to recover a deleted Anki deck. A few clarifications will help determine what’s possible:

  1. Where was the deck deleted?
    • From your local Anki profile on your computer?
    • From AnkiWeb?
    • From AnkiHub (unsubscribed / removed from a shared deck)?
  2. Do you use AnkiHub Sync (the AnkiHub add-on) regularly with this deck?
  3. Do you have any backups (Anki automatic backups, manual .apkg exports, Time Machine, etc.)?

General options to try

Please try these and let me know what you see:

1. Check Anki’s automatic backups

On your computer Anki:

  1. File → Switch Profile… → select the profile you normally use.
  2. File → Open Backup…
  3. Look for a backup from before you deleted the deck.
  4. Open it and see if the deck is present.

If the deck is there, you can either:

  • Continue studying from that restored backup, or
  • Export that deck as .apkg and re-import it into your current profile.

Note: Restoring a backup rolls the whole collection back to the backup time, so be aware of any newer cards/reviews you might lose.

2. Check AnkiWeb

If you sync with AnkiWeb:

  1. Log in at https://ankiweb.net.
  2. See if the deck still exists there.
  3. If it does, you can sync from AnkiWeb → your device (one-way download) in Anki’s sync dialog.

3. Check AnkiHub subscription

If this was an AnkiHub deck:

  1. Go to https://ankihub.net/decks.
  2. See if the deck is still listed under ā€œMy Decksā€ or ā€œSubscribed Decksā€.
  3. If you accidentally unsubscribed, you can resubscribe and then:
    • In Anki desktop, use the AnkiHub add-on → Sync.
    • The shared deck content should reappear (as long as your local cards weren’t manually deleted in a way that can’t be mapped back).

Next step

To give you precise instructions, please reply with:

  • Whether the deck was:
    • a normal local Anki deck, or
    • an AnkiHub synced deck, and which one (e.g., ā€œAnKing Overhaul,ā€ etc.).
  • Whether you’ve already tried File → Open Backup… and what you saw.

Also, if you can, please attach screenshots of:

  • Your Anki Decks screen.
  • Your AnkiHub → My Decks page.

That will make it much easier to guide you step-by-step.

Hello,

Please try restoring the from a backup: How to Restore from Backup

Here’s how you can proceed to try to recover your deleted deck:

  1. Follow the backup guide your moderator linked
Open this article and go through it step‑by‑step:
    :backhand_index_pointing_right: https://community.ankihub.net/t/how-to-restore-from-backup/280705

  2. Key points from that process (summary)
    In Anki on your computer:

    • Go to File → Switch Profile… and choose your usual profile.
    • Then File → Open Backup…
    • Choose a backup from before you deleted the deck.
    • Open it and check if the missing deck is there.
    • If it is, either:
      • Keep using that restored backup as your main collection, or
      • Export just that deck as an .apkg and import it into your current collection.
  3. If this is an AnkiHub deck
After restoring from backup, open Anki and:

    • Make sure the AnkiHub add‑on is enabled.
    • Run AnkiHub → Sync to re-link everything with AnkiHub.

If you run into any step that doesn’t look like in the guide (for example, no suitable backup exists or the deck isn’t in any backup), please reply with:

  • Whether it’s an AnkiHub deck (and which deck), or a purely local deck.
  • What you see when you go to File → Open Backup… (a screenshot helps).

I can then suggest the next best option based on that.
