If you used the magic code to create an Ankiweb account after signing up for AnkiHub, you will be unable to sign into the ankiweb.net website without a password.
Don’t worry, this is by design.
To circumvent this, do the following:
- Go to ankiweb.net
- Click on ‘Forget Password;
- Input the email you used to receive the one-time magic code login
- When the email arrives, click on the link and set a new password
- Now you can login to ankiweb.net with a password
