It looks like you copied the template text for the Support category into your post, but haven’t yet described your actual problem.

To help with your issue (computer restarted and Anki progress gone), please reply with:

  1. Clarifications

    • Are you using AnkiHub (the add-on + account at ankihub.net)?
    • Which Anki version and operating system (Windows/Mac/Linux)?
  2. What exactly is “gone”?

    • Did cards / decks disappear?
    • Or did your reviews / scheduling reset (cards look “new” again, stats reset, etc.)?
    • Are you missing just today’s progress or many days/weeks?
  3. Sync / backup info

    • Were you syncing with AnkiWeb and/or AnkiHub before this happened?
    • Have you checked:
      • Anki Backups:
File → Switch Profile → (select your profile) → Open Backup
or File → Import a backup file from Documents/Anki/backups (path varies by OS)
      • Your AnkiWeb collection (log in at ankiweb.net and see if progress is there)?
      • Your AnkiHub account (if you use shared decks via AnkiHub) to confirm your deck membership is intact?
  4. Screenshots (if possible)

    • A screenshot of:
      • Anki’s Decks screen
      • Tools → Add-ons showing AnkiHub is installed/enabled

Initial steps you can try right now

While you gather that info, you can already:

  1. Check Anki backups

    • In Anki: File → Switch Profile → [your profile] → Open Backup
    • Restore a backup from before the restart and see if your progress returns.
  2. Check sync status

    • If you use AnkiWeb:
Click the sync button and see whether Anki asks you to upload or download.
      • If AnkiWeb has the correct progress, choose Download from AnkiWeb.
    • If you use AnkiHub:
      • Open AnkiHub menu in Anki → Manage AnkiHub Decks and confirm your decks and note counts look normal.
      • Run an AnkiHub sync and see if anything changes.

Once you reply with the details above, I can give more specific, step-by-step guidance on recovering your progress and making sure it’s safely synced with AnkiHub going forward.

Hello,

I would be happy to help.

It’s hard to say what the culprit could be, though AnkiHub doesn’t typically store your local collection at all

The first thing I would try would be reverting to a backup: How to Restore From Backup

If that doesn’t work, you may need to reach out on the official Anki forums for more help with recovering your collection: https://forums.ankiweb.net/

Please let me know if that answers your question, and if there’s anything else I can help with.
