Is that the same as keratoconjunctivitis
keratitis is, per amboss, “inflammation of the cornea” while keratoconjuctivitis is “concomitant corneal inflammation” alongside conjunctivitis
in summary page : Conjunctivitis is an inflammation of the conjunctiva that is sometimes accompanied by corneal inflammation (keratoconjunctivitis). so not really the same but similiar
This initial association is high yield and I would hesitate to change it
honestly card should probably say keratitis or something along those lines…it’s getting at “Herpes simplex keratitis” which is how amboss and UTD name it, but FA 2022 pg162 still just lists keratoconjunctivitis as a hsv 1 complication…when you look at Herpes simplex keratitis under amboss it’s pretty much the same thing listing “Fluorescein staining: superficial corneal erosions (dendritic ulcers) that resemble the branches of a tree (geographic ulcers may be seen when dendritic ulcers widen in shape)” https://next.amboss.com/us/article/oO00tT?q=hsv#Z55e37ce91addee6235e9f9e241bbb8c8
