I agree with capitalization. However, I didn’t think that brand names were used on NBME exams. Is keeping Depo-Provera worthwhile? It really seems this card is emphasizing the duration of 3 months. In addition, nid:1638292398578 already addresses Depo-Provera = DMPA (Depo-Provera contains {{c1::medroxyprogesterone acetate::type of progesterone}}). Probably could merge those cards.
Does UW use brand names in the tagged questions? Knowing brand names may be worthwhile for wards, but the deck’s focus is boards.
I would leave the suggested text with the expanded name but get rid of the brand name and get rid of the c1 around the expanded name. Just leave it around the length of time
So this?
An injection of depot medroxyprogesterone acetate (DMPA) typically lasts for {{c1::three months::how long?}}
EDIT: this’ll require more votes before accepting since it’s changing a Cloze.
Yeah I think that’s better. It’d require more votes but it’s more consistent with generally not having brand names in the main body of cards. Unless there’s specifically a UWorld QID that requires you know the brand name I think what you wrote is better
@AnKing-Maintainers updated suggestion
love it
Maybe keep Depo-provera at least in the extra section!
