“nbsp;” (non-breaking space) is something that plagues Anki… it’s an HTML thing. A special kind of stupid space that looks like a space but is just different.

@Jwill got it right. I mostly notice it when I do cards on my phone since you sometimes get weird spacing because of it, like a new line after only 1 short word. Unfortunately the change submission editor sometimes puts them in so it’ll be a plague forever until we code AnkiHub to just remove them (which I believe has been suggested but not top priority).
