Hmmm, as I remember it, there was a discussion on a suggestion thread which resulted in additions to Extra on this card, but not to the Text. Earlier today I happened upon an old suggestion for this card (which I rejected in favor of proposing these changes here instead). Perhaps there were additional discussions before my time or that I don’t remember.
I believe my suggestion is a good addition along the lines of the bit we added in Extra. There issue being: the card doesn’t specify what it means by “management.” Management of symptoms of claudication? Because in that case the answer would be cilostazol. Or management of progression of disease? (The answer being clopidogrel). Although we already addressed this in Extra, I think it’s worth aligning the Text with those changes as well.
I believe we have agreed on two ideas: one focuses on reducing cardiovascular risk through antiplatelet therapy, and the other addresses symptomatic treatment with cilostazol. you change will make this card a duplicate for nid:1532194776193.
I think the best approach is to cover the aspect of symptomatic treatment, where the answer will be cilostazol. i.e., “Which medication is most appropriate for improving claudication symptoms in peripheral arterial disease (PAD)? {{c1::Cilostazol}}”
