@AhmedAfifi why replace the image with a lower quality version, are we rationing pixels?

@pkaps01 may not be good idea for you then to be updating the images to higher quality ones.

Not an expert on pixel density and stuff w screenshots but even the lower pixel version here has clear text and lines. A lot of the ones I’ve been replacing from Wikimedia and openstax are blurry to the point of not really looking good stylistically with the deck. @AhmedAfifi you would know better than me do you have any guidance on this?

Types of changes Kevin and I are talking about:

@pkaps01 We’re capping the image dimensions at 3k pixels (either width or length) because some users with lower-end devices experienced lag with images around something like 7k pixels. I think your suggestions are spot on since the images were blurry, as you mentioned, just resize them to below 3k pixels when needed, and it won’t affect the quality much.
