AAMC FL3: “Group polarization is the tendency for a group’s consensus to be more extreme than it was prior to group discussion.”
I believe I’ve seen it referred to just as polarization but group polarization is definitely the more specific/correct term here. Also removes any chance of thinking the card is about magnetic polarization.
