What about
Hi, ABCDs!
Hi refers to medicines used in African American patients
- Hydralazine
- Isosorbide dinitrates
ABCD refers to medicines in guideline-directed medical therapy (GDMT)
- ACE inhibitors & ARBs
- β-blockers
- Mineralo-Corticoid receptor antagonists (MRAs)
- Anti-Diabetic SGLT-2 inhibitors (empagliflozin)
The last S is for the neprilysin inhibitor/angiotensin receptor combination drug
- Sacubitril/valsartan
.
I think this might work cause it differentiates the 2 S’s, and keeps hydralazine and nitrates together
