AMBOSS also says “Most common in children between 6 months and 2 years of age” so technically it still is the most common presenting symptom in infants as well - Also, I think the card should say most common as well instead of just common
There is a uworld question if someone can check it - #AK_Step1_v12::#UWorld::24964 - if that specifies infants then I’d say leave the cloze and add the under 5 to the extra section
also #AK_Step2_v12::#UWorld::3785
agree, ive seen questions where this presents in children under 5, not necessarily infants
Uworld step1 QID is a 1yo pt , the explanation says “common presentation of SCD in young children”
Amboss: “Infant: A child under 1 year of age”

@anking-maintainers this is clunky, how about just “young children”?
Agree, can add “- Typically seen in < 5 years of age” to Extra
Or just “children” and in extra “typically under age of 5” like what @beejumm suggested
Not sure of original source but would like to check that before pushing anything
Checked and this is originally from Pathoma. UW Step 2 QID 3785 says 6 months to 4 years. I feel leaving it as infants is fine w/ note in extra “can be an early presenting sign up to age 5,” but not opposed to changing this if others prefer
Amboss says can occur <5yo, but most common from 6mo to 2y old. Okay with either leave as is and add note to extra, or change to young children. Lean towards leave as is though
Like leaving answer as is but clarify in extra as AMBOSS puts it
Toddlers?
