@mrvhyte I wonder if this is where randomisation of cards can come into play. We may be able to randomise the image through a variety of images of fragile X syndrome, so that users do not simply just see the same boy in a yellow shirt and think fragile X and instead identify the common dysmorphic facial features

That sounds like a good idea, although I think there’s alot of value in having a static card like this in addition, cause my brain has linked “yellow shirt boy” - “fragile X” - “long face and high set ears”. Whereas I don’t think I’d have as strong linkage if the image randomised each time.

  • I think randomisation would be incredible for learning to recognize dysmorphic features

  • having one photo that you associate with the disease is great for rote learning the list of syndromic features

Either way @mrvhyte , I’m happy to accept as is for now and implement a randomised card later on

Just thinking how goated the randomisation is going to be for dermatology @sabicool
