@anking-maintainers - FA23 pg 494 on arachidonic acid pathways agrees that IkB downregulates NF-kB, but I can’t find a good source for this change overall. Google image search “NF-κB activation pathway” makes it look like original is correct
Agree with @herstein.jacob , think Amboss and FAS1 both just simplify the pathway to “pattern recognition receptors activation leads to activation of NF-κB”. This card needs to be looked at in context. There are 4 cards on the NF-κB pathway which go into more detail about the underlying pathway which results in activation of NF-κB

Away from computer right now but recently got a UWorld question wrong on this. To my understanding, IkB is bound to NFkB, IkB kinase phosphorylates IkB, detaching them from each other, allowing NFkB to do it’s thing. Card is correct as is.
