@zthomas36 Great catch! Yes, it is aldol addition that creates an aldol but the extra step (dehydration) in aldol condensation produces a conjugated enone. This is noted in the Extra, but it’s noted in a way that makes it seem like dehydration is a step done outside of aldol condensation. I’ve edited the Extra to adjust for this
