AMBOSS considers metronidazole a CYP450 inhibitor, specifically CYP2C9. https://next.amboss.com/us/article/7N04cg#Yedfa70e6479a11fad3cf5d7d3d2e85c0 CYP2C9 does not affect statins which is why UW Step 1 QID 161 considers it the wrong choice (correct choice is clarithromycin which is CYP3A4 which statins are)
