In my opinion a mnemonic should not be changed unless it is inappropriate (offensive, outdated, etc.) because most people who matured this card have already memorized the mnemonic regardless of how “good” it is. The only time I have seen a mnemonic change was with external carotid artery branches; updated from “Some Angry Ladies Fight Off PMS” to “Some Attendings Like Freaking Out Poor Medical Students” (Oct 2025). Feel free to suspend this card and make your own mnemonic if it is easier for you. Personal preference isn’t a good enough reason IMO.
