Technically true, but I’d worry we’re overcomplicating things for our purposes; this topic is already notoriously complex/hard to understand.
Would at least add to extra: “Thus, allowing the subthalamic nucleus to excite the globus pallidus <\u>internus</u>” or something like that since the effect of “disinhibition” might not be very clear to those learning for the first time
FA24 says “disinhibiting (activating)” - they mean the same thing, just wasn’t sure if anyone thought the change might make ti clearer
Think i’d suggest leaving text as is and just put in a clarification in extra, don’t think it justifies changing these cards for everyone
Agree, most cards in this set say either excitation or inhibition, this will change it and extra is most suitable
