@Michael_B this seems like a pretty straightforward case. I double-checked and the equation is, indeed, in chapter 6 of the Kaplan physics books. Would this be an easy case of open-and-shut approve this tag, or is the rationale insufficiently worded?
Just trying to get my sea legs, as it were.
Only thing I’d ask from the author in this rationale is to specify the page number. We will need to do some double checking for some rationales but it shouldn’t always be the case. This is one of them though & like you said, it’s an easy check-and-confirm sorta process before approving the tag
For now, we won’t necessarily need to ping authors for this sorta thing. I’m still gonna need to get a suggestion guide up and running before we can expect authors to put things like the specific page # on a rationale
Copy that. So in this case, and for the next near future, do I need to do any actual approving or I just cross-reference with you to get the right idea for a bit?
Either is fine, just want to make sure I have the right idea.
Understood, I will put page #'s next time, I have written other suggestions for other tags since a lot of them were in a limbo of not having a kaplan tag and chapter associated with it.
All good, that’s completely understandable @ws1022 . We appreciate these suggestions regardless!! A lot of people rely on Kaplan so using tags to match up the chapter they’re going through with the cards they need to do is usually their go-to. Adding these tags makes that a lot more of a comprehensive process to use!
For now, you won’t need to do any actual approving. We’ll just go back and forth on things in the discussion as need be & work your way up to independently approving things like this. Let me know if that answered your question
100%. I’m having a ball. Like anything, some volume of repetition and I think it’ll start falling into place.
