This is one of those things that’s more personal preference than a need for all users. When we merge suggestions, it affects all users. But AnkiHub is configured in a way where, even if something doesn’t benefit everyone, users can add in their own info to help them personalize their cards. So, that’s what we’d write in our rationale (because when you discard a suggestion, a rationale is required)
