AMBOSS states 7-10 days for ASA

NSAID:
Short-acting (e.g., ibuprofen): Hold for ∼ 24 hours before surgery.
Intermediate-acting (e.g., naproxen): Hold for ∼ 4 days before surgery.
Long-acting (e.g., piroxicam): Hold for ∼ 10 days before surgery.

Vit E: Not mentioned

I couldnt find the actual ranges in amboss, but the timeframes you provided show that 2 weeks would encompass all of the referred to drugs. That may be what the card is trying to get at, but that should be clarified since another card explicitly states 1 week for aspirin. I do not think the cards are in enough agreement on the timeframes beyond the times on this particular card.

@Ravaew is correct, this card is an oversimplification of the matter which @Aaron clearly illustrates with the varying timelines. Regarding vitamin E, AMBOSS provides the theoretical explanation under Vitamin E Toxicity (pathway pasted below). However, the crux of the issue here is not which card is right, but that this note is a gross oversimplification and studying it would likely cause you more trouble than benefit. I feel that these concepts need to be broken up or this should be turned into a 1-by-1 with the most common anticoagulation agents listed.

Vitamin E Anticoagulation Pathway, per AMBOSS:
High-dose supplementation: alteration of vitamin K metabolism → ↑ anticoagulatory effects of warfarin → ↑ risk of bleeding

Those are just my thoughts but it’s the maintainers that make the final determination of what changes are made.

There’s no NID associated with this question, also it comes in “AnKing skipped” tag. IMO only aspirin is important and the two cards can possibly be merged, but still, since majority of NSAIDS have duration of action <1 week, the answer can be changed to that. Vitamin E can be removed as it’s only for “toxicity” and not normal dosing, also Vit E is used mostly topically and systemic toxicity in those cases is not seen, thus it’s just too extreme of a case.

She says of all 3 “Optimally 2 wks, but 7-10 days is usually what we tell our patients”.
