I think this is technically true and there is like 1 sentence alluding to it in the kaplan books. “Fluids are substances that have the ability to flow and conform to the shape of their containers. Fluids can exert perpendicular forces, but cannot exert shear forces.” And since on the mcat we ignore viscosity this holds true, or something. Regardless, seems beyond the scope of the MCAT
