I’m not able to double-check the UWorld question, but Amboss confirms
Step 2 UW QID 19085 states explicitly that the patient “was unable to stand or walk, [but] did not lose consciousness” in the question stem. Their table for EAPH says the same, “no loss of consciousness”. They state that, unlike other causes of exercise-associated collapse (heat stroke, sweat-induced hyponatremia), patients with EAPH remain alert with normal mentation.
Think the extra should be corrected as UWorld is saying EAPH is just one cause of EAC and not that they’re synonymous
