I feel the international guidelines are the best source for this, I would assume STEP questions will be cross-referenced against these. The guidelines (Clinical practice guidelines for the care of girls and women with Turner syndrome: Proceedings from the 2023 Aarhus International Turner Syndrome Meeting - PMC) would support the age for estrogen (they say 11-12). Not sure about the GH though - that’s not referenced in the guidelines, which state to start early. Specifically, they say as young as 2 if any of the following: ‘evidence of growth failure (rate of growth below normal or declining), short stature, or likelihood of short stature.’. I don’t think we need to get that specific though - I think we could simplify the GH bit to simply ‘start GH early’.
