@Michael_B, I would go a couple better: one, I’m going to anticipate your thought processes here and suggest that we should require a source cited; second, I think both bonds should be identified alongside their wavenumber (it’s insufficient to just say O-H and C=O, it should define 2800cm as being whatever bond, and 1600cm as whatever bond; the lack of specificity lends to a certain degree of vagueness that I think undermines the card overall).
Agreed, having specific labels would be ideal. @AhmedAfifi , I’m wondering if you can edit out-of-house images? On this one, we’d need a label near the question mark on the left side of this image writing “2800 cm^-1” (the superscript being marked in without the “^” per se) and another label near the question mark on the right side of the image with “1600 cm^-1”
For the time being, I’ll merge this suggestion & we can add the labels using a new suggestion
I checked Extra and we have a source for photo credit. Just for the sake of convenience with reviewing cards, photo credit is usually placed in Extra.
