There are a lot of wrong suggestions about this card due to the misleading original explanation.
I agree that the current version of the card is wrong, but I think it’s overkill to test on all four phases. Amboss explicitly combines phase I with II, and III with IV; and Costanzo doesn’t mention the four phases, instead describing the more simplified increase-then-decrease phenomenon.
