@sandhua3 just make sure to put “Photo credit:” out front
but tbh this isnt osteopathic at all and is a major dupe of the Anking deck so I’ll probs end up deleting it soon anyway ha
I would favor keeping the MSK non-OMM cards in the deck for two main reasons.
-
question tagging from the OMT UWORLD add-ons QBANKS
-
The MSK portion is what I like about this deck, and some people may only do this OMM deck in preparation for their board exam during dedicated time and not touch the AnKing deck because of how big it is. The OMT deck can have the added benefit of providing a good MSK review as it is a huge portion of the COMLEX exams as compared to USMLE. In addition, if someone had already un-suspended a similar card in the AnKing deck they would know to skip over that card in the OMM deck (and if they don’t know then they are probably better off doing it again)
UWorld OMM tags can be added to the Anking deck (if they are correlated with correct nids) like this card would be. If you make a suggestion like that you can “@“ me I can look at it and approve it in the Anking deck.
Also I don’t think “people might need dupe cards” is a good reason to keep dupes. We shouldn’t keep cards based on the fact that someone hasn’t been using Anki right and clicking “good” on cards they forgot so now they don’t know and need to see it again/double as a new card.
This deck isn’t all inclusive, and isn’t suppose to be. It’s meant to emphasize OMM. The vision for this deck is to eventually have all non-OMM nids updated to the osteopathic view or removed from the deck.
If someone is using this deck but not the Anking deck (first as we’ve discussed before I would be very surprised) then they should have another supplemental deck that they are using.
So in short if there is an osteopathic reason to keep this card, or an adaptation to the text would make out so, than keeping it is worth considering.
