@zachmsutton Do you have sources for the “more recent studies” showing no increased incidence of HoTN post-nitro in inferior/RV MI? The linked source cites nothing.
UTD advises to use with significant caution or avoid if evidence of decreased preload.

I have heard this discussed on EM:RAP but I can’t find the episode atm. I believe this threat has been mostly theoretical and based on a small study from the 90’s. Should the BP drop it’s as easy as d/c ing the nitro and due to its fast on fast off property it shouldn’t be an issue.
