@herstein.jacob thought esophageal candidiasis was for more severly immunocomprimised conditions such as AIDS (AIDS-defining illness - covered in NID:1500235389271) or severely immunocompromised? This might suggest they normally occur together
I also thought this, but AMBOSS and FA both say that you can have esophageal with inhaled steroids
