I don’t know that I find this image all that objectionable. The positive and negative values are all relative to defined perspective, as with anything. It’s not the way I would choose to frame it, but it’s not incorrect in any absolute sense
I’m not opposed to putting in a simpler phase-change diagram, if we think it’s helpful, but I dunno I see the wisdom in just deleting the image
