Should just change name in text, note former name in extra, and keep second line in extra but shorten it; try to keep cards concise. If other maintainers want to make the change in how we refer to this disease, we should edit it throughout the deck
Sounds reasonable; I made some changes to the proposed edit. It looks like the new nomenclature is already used in some of the other cards, such as a2c3f82d-e7fe-4208-b562-c6143abdb3b2
Also see 8d387a0c-3ba2-4e62-b3db-db8a32cca31c
This card also uses the newer terminology
yea i think this change is good i will need to read up on everything soon, if anyone wants to you can send to slack chat
Bump to resolve - super LY IMO, but I think this has been updated by others since the original suggestion. Think we should leave cloze on {{earlier::earlier/later}} and just add the second bullet to extra
Bump @Anking-maintainers
Can remove c1 on non-immune IMO, relatively LY
with the name “associated” I feel like nonimmune is implied making that cloze redundant/unnecessary but support the other changes
Just to clarify, we’ll be changing card to look like this?
Text:
Nonimmune heparin-associated thrombocytopenia presents {{c1::earlier::earlier/later}} and causes a self-limited thrombocytopenia
Extra:
*Formerly called Type 1 Heparin-induced thrombocytopenia
Presents within 2 days of heparin administration
Support change but not the cloze
Yes. I made the change
