This is true. S. mitis is not “non-subacute” nor does that wording make sense.
I’m not seeing anything specific in the Amboss article cited that supports either way.

I think the sanguinis may be more associated with the endocarditis. Even the snip from schralp seemes to imply that mitis is not as important of a causative viridans strep. I do support chaning the non-subacute to subacute. “Non-subacute” is such an annoying term anyways bc you could just say “acute”
