perhaps the note should be less vague, but its my understanding RCA thrombosis can cause inferior MI. if the PDA branches off of it, the infarction can occur inferiorly even if the thrombosis is up in the RCA
Searching this up I’ve indeed found a few sources pairing RCA thrombosis to inferior MI. However, these sources don’t seem to be stringently validated. Do you happen to have an authoritative source that specifically pairs inferior MI to RCA thrombosis as opposed to PDA thrombosis?
Will revisit this and other suggestion on this card, both are compelling
I recall a question from Rx that specifically tested for RCA and had PDA as another answer choice which was wrong. I think the question is hinting towards what pejsa is saying
