i think we discussed this before in slack?
I cant find the convo
I think @Ahmed7 is right, but I can’t find the thread either
Slack deletes after 3 months, I remember Ethan and @Tahseen were discussing this as well but we stuck to UWorld for this
UW was against this change?
@Ahmed7 @Cameron @thomas.holmes @Sameem @zarathustra @NiceJewishBoy @shmuelsash - UW specifically uses the term firm, AMBOSS exclusively calls it rubbery, and we call it rubbery in extra section of nid:1586033751070.
I think given that UW uses firm i’d vote to leave as is
Agree, can add amboss uses rubbery in extra
So we should update that extra if we’re gonna keep as is
In nid:1463356568833 we directly call it rubbery (text, not extra.) I am looking on the internet more generally, a lot of places say firm or rubbery, sometimes firm and rubbery - including American Cancer Society, NIH StatPearls, etc. I think firm/rubbery is fine, even if it is a bit unclear
@anking-maintainers - final thoughts? Edited to firm/rubbery and added note about contrast with fat necrosis which is firm and irregular (vs. firm/rubbery and well-circumscribed)
fine with current suggestion
@anking-maintainers I have been reading more, and this can be BOTH - updated suggestion, please thumbs up/down
