@AnKing-Maintainer We’ve discussed this card before. Looks like the change is still confusing. Could we change the Text to…

By what age does an infant fully develop stranger anxiety?
{{c1::9 months}}

@anking-maintainers Like @DillingerMed 's suggestion above; we’re still getting a lot of suggestions to clarify this so think we should do so

Personally would rather change the card to 6 months, in keeping with the original intent of the card (which is to test at what age it develops, not at what age it peaks)

Can someone check the UW QIDs? I don’t have Step 2 access anymore. AMBOSS table says 9 months, but if you hover it says “Typically lasts from 6 months to 2 years of age.”

Question is about 10 mo child exhibiting stranger anxiety. Answer is that it is part of “normal development”.

Explanation: “Stranger anxiety typically starts at age 6 months, peaks at 8-9 months , and resolves by age 2 years.”

There is a table that appears in like 5-10 questions… can you check that as well please?

I’m only finding one question with the table, and it has stranger anxiety at 9 months. However, all explanations mimic the quote above

In that case maybe we just make this a range of 6-9 months?

+1 to cloze change to 6-9 months

Extra field already has " Stranger anxiety starts around 6 months , but peaks at 9 months, and resolves spontaneously by 2 years of age"

I def disagree. Other than in a table, both UW, AMBOSS, and FA25 all align in saying that stranger anxiety begins at 6 months, so I don’t see any reason not to be accurate with the card
