@braviboron I literally have no idea on the source for this.
I have had a look, and there is a reference in the Oxford Concise Medical Dictionary, but I don’t have access online. The other source is Sim’s (Sims' Symptoms in the Mind), but this - like many other textbooks - refers to this phenomenon as derailment. Perhaps we could change the card to reflect this more common term and include knight’s move thinking in the extra

Yeah I’m not bothered, it’s a pretty niche fact. I say delete the card and keep the single loosening of association. I think there isn’t really such a meaningful difference that necessitates both
