too long of a cloze maybe put cloze 1 also on sensironeural hearing loss. Thing is with this card usually you can come up with the answer before even reading the second half over time but then the second half of CN VIII serves as a hint. I personally don’t like the change as technically you could argue sensorineural is a type of hearing loss along with deafness
