AMBOSS: erythro/aizthro IV + amp IV → amox PO + erythro/azithro PO.

UTD says aizthro PO + amp IV → amox PO.

Both updated recently (see below) can someone help decide what to do

Dynamed says erythro/azithro IV + IV amp for 48h → 5/7 oral amoxicillin & erythro/azithro, and cites ACOG as class A recommendation. ACOG in 2011 and again in 2018 suggested azithro as a suitable option to be considered, but their broad recommendation was for erythromycin. I’ll post the wording in a separate comment. DOIs are 10.1097/AOG.0000000000002833 and 10.1097/AOG.0000000000003700

The optimal antibiotic regimen is unclear because multiple regimens have demonstrated benefit. Based on available information, to reduce maternal and neonatal infections and gestational-age-dependent morbidity, a 7-day course of therapy of latency antibiotics with a combination of intravenous ampicillin and erythromycin followed by oral amoxicillin and erythromycin is recommended during expectant management of women with preterm PROM who are at less than 34 0/7 weeks of gestation. 10.1097/AOG.0000000000003700

I would propose changing the card to as per dollajas’ comment - I think realistically, they’re not going to ask you to choose between erythro or azithro in a test (as both are reasonable choices per the above) - but it’s not impossible they might have just one of them as an option of 4 choices.

have submitted a rewritten version as a separate suggestion.
