Would you want to delete the companion flashcard nid:1509828870081
yup, already made the suggestion to delete the card
revote, extremely low yield card for step 1 @anking-maintainers
On the fence on this one. I agree that it’s a low-yield distinction, but it’s correct medical info-- feel like I would need a better reason to do away with it.
agree with @andrewmathias8
We can keep this info/distinction in the extra for those who want it, but since the deck is focused on the step exams it makes more sense to keep it focused in the text
Idk…I didn’t see the previous discussion, but just because there aren’t any qid’s tagged doesn’t necessarily mean that “routes aren’t needed to answer questions for step 1 or 2 or 3”, right?
Circling back to this, we would still need to mark the other card as duplicate and delete it but want to see if we can reach a bigger consensus first @anking-maintainers

The other card: 1509828870081
@andrewmathias8 @mohannadkh10 Would you guys be okay if this was pushed? Any other suggestions or ways we can handle this?
I’m still just not seeing the reason for this. Just because we think it’s low yield? I feel like, “there’s no qids tagged and it seems low yield to me” is a poor rationale. Again, I’m not sure how we know that it’s not needed to answer questions on Step 1, 2, or 3
Posted this on slack, but figured I’d repost here
UWorld library/Amboss supports the content, I just don’t think the details of the route are necessary imo since there aren’t any QIDs and is tagged as “lower yield”.
I’m somewhat passionate about removing the routes in part because I helped cause the problem and helped do the suggestion to update the severe case to azithromycin/atovaquone. The old card said clindamycin/quinine which is the alternative treatment.
At the time that’s really why we switched these to having the routes on the flashcards. It was just a content update and to help distinguish the flashcards.
Prior to the AnkiHub suggestion the routes were NOT listed on the original cards.”
